I've been away a long time, but I do continue to lurk the pages of DA and adore all of your artwork. I'm back today, updating my journal, as a cry for help. My dog's name is Maia, and today I was able to finally see a specialist vet after many frustrating months of trying to diagnose the cause of her limp. At first we thought it was hip dysplasia, which is common for her breed, but the specialist today told me that she has torn her ACLs in both her hind legs. She will need surgery if she ever wants to walk normally again. As it is, Maia spends most of her day lying on her doggie bed with us trying to keep her comfortable. She is on so many
